When Lawlessness Abounds: president's admirer predicts revolution at your door
Nation of Islam Leader Lois Farrakhan delivered his four hour annual "Savior's Day" speech to followers in Chicago on Sunday. The Chicago Tribune reports that Farrakhan told his followers that revolution is imminent in America: "What you are looking at in Tunisia, in Egypt ... Libya, in Bahrain ... what you see happening there ... you'd better prepare because it will be coming to your door," The Tribune said Farrakhan delivered the prediction in a booming voice, with thousands of followers cheering in response. Farrakhan called on the current president to allow protesters to march, urging the him not to attack innocent people when they do.
Farrakhan is an admitted admirer of the current president, calling him at one time the "Messiah." So when Farrakhan, a long time radical and considered by many a racist toward caucasians, says there is going to be a Middle East style revolution in the United States, more than Homeland Security should take notice. Labor Unions--translated socialist activists--in Wisconsin already have started this protest movement over a financially troubled state wanting public employees to pay their fair share of health insurance. Duly elected legislators have gone into hiding to block legislation that mandates the cuts. In other words, they are violating their oath of office to side with those who wish to undermine the "democratic" process.
This is also occurring from the White House, who not only is supporting the Wisconsin protests, but also has gone against the democratic process and is breaking the law. The White House has said it will no longer defend the Defense of Marriage Act, defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The White House has ignored court decisions that the socialist healthcare law is unconstitutional and is proceeding with its implementation. The White House has ignored a court order to allow offshore drilling for oil by refusing to issue permits. Congress voted down a White House proposal for an economic advisory committee, so the president established it by executive order. This list of lawlessness is not a short one.
The Washington Post reported on February 18, that the president's "political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to get thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals." What separates the American experiment in representative government is the rule of law, not the rule of those who shout the loudest. Jesus said of the latter days in Matthew 24:12, "And because lawlessness abounds, the love of many shall wax cold." He is speaking of the lawlessness of sin and iniquity, the non-compliance to God's law. Can you see the parallel to what is coming to your door?

The White House connection to Qaddafi
The White House put insurmountable pressure on long time US ally Hosni Mubarak of Egypt to step down and pave the way for a more radical regime backed by the terrorist sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood. It was a peaceful transfer of power. In Libya, however, Islamic terrorist dictator Muammar Qaddafi is killing people by the hundreds who are demonstrating against his regime. The White House has stood by silently, offering only a statement from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the world should speak as one voice in dealing with the Libyan uprising. The question is evident: Why would the American president depose an ally, but do nothing to remove a radical dictator with a long history of terrorism?
There is a connection between the president and Qaddafi that goes far back to at least when the president was attending the church of the radical Jeremiah Wright. Wright was involved with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. On March 19th, 2007, Ryan Lizza, Senior Editor at The New Republic wrote a biographical piece on Wright explicitly stating that Wright is a former Muslim. Wright accompanied Farrakhan on a 1996 visit to Libya's terrorist dictator Qaddafi. Whether the president knew Qaddafi during these years is not public knowledge, but there is a connection that appears to run so deep that Qaddafi himself has praised the president on several occasions.
In October 2008, Qaddafi said in a speech, "There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama. All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. . .We still hope that this black man will take pride in his African and Islamic identity, and in his faith." In April 2010, Qaddafi spoke about the president to a crowd in Sirt, Libya saying, "He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent."
On July 9, 2009 at the G-8 summit FOX News published a picture of the president shaking hands with Qaddafi. The story said the "diplomatic gesture was his latest effort to reach out to controversial world leaders in an attempt to improve the United States' standing around the world." Now there are rumors in Libya that al Qaeda has a government in waiting for when Qaddafi is toppled. Interesting that in both Egypt and in Libya, more radical regimes wait in the wings and the American president is in the thick of these events. 2 John 7 says, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." Our nation is in great peril.

Prophetic acceleration of national decline and rise of a one world order
In 2002, when the Lord placed it on my heart to write "The Daily Jot", there were probably only one or two events on the national or world stage a month that could be considered "prophetic." Five years later it was perhaps one a week. And as I look at the headlines today, I am seeing that events with prophetic significance are occurring several times a day. We need to be vigilant. We need to have understanding. We need to have discernment. There is fast coming a time when the guidance of the Holy Spirit may not only mean the saving of our personal lives, but also be the God-given opportunity to lead another soul to eternal life. We have to be ready. We have to be awake.
Many of the verses in Daniel and Revelation are difficult to understand. Some are symbolic. Some are literal. Some have been fulfilled. Some have yet to be fulfilled. Of the things that we know, we must be ever alert that, as Jesus warned his disciples in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." In Acts 1:6, Jesus was asked when he would restore the kingdom to Israel. Jesus replied, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
America long has been the nation that has stood in the gap for Israel and has been the block in the breech against the coming one world order. In recent years, America's leadership has become less and less a barrier to the rise of the antichrist and a one world government. Events under this current leadership have exponentially accelerated toward the prophetic end times. There are several events in the news today that have prophetic implications for America and the future of every American. For example, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says that the world should "speak with one voice" with regard to the unrest in Libya, yielding America's sovereignty to a one world order.
The president says he will no longer defend marriage between a man and a woman in the courts, opening the door for homosexuals to have marriage rights. The president and his political party also are directly supporting labor unrest in several states, pitting Americans against Americans, and undermining our legislative system. One Democratic Massachusetts Congressman said its time "to get out on the streets and get a little bloody." Oil prices have reached $119 on the world market, meaning prices for food and other essentials will inflate. Americans are prevented by their government to drill for oil domestically. We as citizens need to begin standing strong for our nation. Our leaders are incapable of it.

A prophetic shaking throughout the Middle East
The news media and the Director of National Intelligence have been proven wrong that the Muslim Brotherhood is a non-violent group with mainly secular ties. AFP reports that the "spiritual leader of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood", also the head of the International Union for Muslim Scholars, cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi issued a religious edict, or fatwa, that fellow sponsor of terrorism Moamer Kadhafi is to be killed. Al-Qaradawi told Al Jazeera television from his base in Qatar, "Whoever in the Libyan army is able to shoot a bullet at Mr. Kadhafi should do so...to rid Libya of him." This should be a clear indicator to the White House that the Muslim Brotherhood is assisting in the unrest of the entire Middle East.
The Middle East is in uproar. This obvious statement belies explanation. The Western news media says it is an uprising of people around the region who want freedom and democracy. But what does not fit this picture is the Muslim Brotherhood. This group is a terror sponsoring group that advocated a worldwide Caliphate--that is Sharia Law established in every country on the earth. Democracy is the antithesis of Muslim Brotherhood doctrine. Peace is only the peace of Islam, which is found in Sharia law. And freedom is the freedom found in the shackles of Sharia. No other political body on the face of the earth promotes human rights violations and slavery more than the so-called "peaceful" religion of Islam.
That the Muslim Brotherhood is working with its natural opposition, the Shiite Iranian Ayatollah, in overthrowing what many consider radical regimes, means one of two things: either a more moderate government is sought, or a more radical government is on the horizon. Given the rhetoric that one reads on the signs of the protestors and hears in their chants, the hate for Israel and America does not give much hope for a moderate, democratic replacement of these regimes. Once again, to discern this "movement" properly, one has to look at the actions of the people, not the reporting of idealist left-leaning journalists.
The sinister and warlike characteristics of Islam were long adopted before Mohammed chose the greatest of the pagan gods in the temple at Mecca to be the one and only allah. Ishmaelites descended from Ishmael and are mentioned no less than eight times in the Old Testament. In Psalm 83, Asaph writes in verse 4, "They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance." Then he lists those who wish to destroy Israel and among them are the Ishmaelites. The more things change, the more they remain the same. This Islamist uprising is not about democracy, perhaps more about demon-ocracy. Take heed that you are not deceived.

Sudden reversal: US vetoes UN condemnation of Israel
Sometime between Wednesday, February 16 and Friday, February 18, the White House reversed its position on the United Nations resolution condemning the "continued settlement activity" by Israel. In an "about face," the Administration vetoed the UN resolution, it previously was reported to support, even help craft. Even so, Americans should watch for tremendous announcements of political deals in the aftermath that has angered the Islamic world to the point of riot. After a week or more of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton saying that the US did not support Israel's right to build houses on its own land, and news reports that the US would vote with the Islamic block, in the end, the US used its veto power.
There was tremendous back room dealing going on leading up to the vote. The UK Guardian reported: "The vote, on Friday night, followed frantic diplomatic efforts to prevent the tabling of the resolution, which was carefully worded to reflect official US policy on settlements. Obama spoke to Abbas on the phone for 50 minutes on Thursday, offering a package of inducements, including public statements, to withdraw the resolution...Obama also suggested US aid to the Palestinian Authority could be halted if the resolution went ahead." It is obvious from the veto that the US did not get what it wanted from the Palestinian side, but must have gotten more than what is being reported from the Israeli side.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel "deeply appreciated" the US standing alone for Israel in the 14-1 vote. Traditional allies of Israel such as Great Britain, France and Germany all voted with Islam. Israel's political opposition leader, Tzipi Livni, said the "US is being pushed into a corner and finds itself with Israel against the world." The Guardian reports Israeli-Arab member of the Knesset, Ibrahim Sarsour, wrote in an open letter to the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, "Obama cannot be trusted. We knew his promises were lies. The time has come to spit in the face of the Americans." Palestinians, indeed, are planning a "day of rage" to protest America.
The American Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, said that the US agreed with the resolution it voted against, but that the Security Council should not be resolving the core issues between the Palestinians and Israel. Something is amiss here. The White House helped write this resolution and indicated support for it. Then, after much negotiating, voted against it. Jesus said in Luke 8:17, "For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid that shall not be known and come abroad." There will be more revealed on this in the days ahead. But for now, America stood with Israel in the public domain. Let us pray that in the hidden back rooms of political maneuvering, it did so as well.

Prophecy Clock: Eschatology of Islam and Christianity
The Lord says in Isaiah 55:8,9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways...For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Jesus said in Matthew 28:18, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." If we believe the word of God, then we must understand that all power rests in the hands of Christ, and that the Lord's ways, thoughts, and methods are so far above ours that we cannot understand them completely. World events, therefore, as we usher in the end times and see prophecies maturing to fulfillment, will not be as man wishes them to be, nor will they be as they appear.
The Western world looks at the Middle East and wants to believe that the protests to topple the governments in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and others are freedom driven. They may just be in the minds of those who are protesting, but the freedom they are desiring is not the same as Western freedom as upheld in a Constitutional Republic or a representative democracy. It is the freedom of Islam, the peace of Islam. This freedom is the freedom of the made up and revamped moon god, allah, as defined by a deranged warlord and pedophile Mohammed in the 7th century. This so-called freedom is determined by Sharia law, where women and non-Muslims are subject to the Islamic Caliphate.
Islam's eschatology is similar to Christianity. Like most things of satan, however, Islam is an imitation leading many into deception. The 12th Imam is expected to return in the end times and bring the peace of Islam to the world for seven years with Jesus Christ as his prophet. On the 32nd anniversary of the overthrow of the Shah of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad gave a speech that the unrest in the Middle East is the beginning of the return of the 12th Imam. He said, "The final move has begun. We are in the middle of a world revolution managed by this dear (12th Imam). A great awakening is unfolding. One can witness the hand of the Imam in managing it." He believes that America is trying to prevent this.
Ahmadinejad has a very different view of the Egyptian uprising because he believes it will usher in the seven year reign of the 12th Imam, even with Christ as his prophet. This certainly parallels with what Christians believe about the antichrist, the seven year tribulation, and the eventual return of Christ. Those who minimize the prophecies of the end times believe the uprisings are spontaneous revolutions for freedom. Most believe Ahmadinejad to be delusional. These leaders also believe those who see Israel as God's timepiece of prophecy are ignorant radicals. Notwithstanding what the worldly believe, the prophecy clock has moved forward with Middle East unrest. Discern the scriptures that you are not left with your lamp half full.

Prophecy Clock: Eschatology of Islam and Christianity
The Lord says in Isaiah 55:8,9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways...For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Jesus said in Matthew 28:18, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." If we believe the word of God, then we must understand that all power rests in the hands of Christ, and that the Lord's ways, thoughts, and methods are so far above ours that we cannot understand them completely. World events, therefore, as we usher in the end times and see prophecies maturing to fulfillment, will not be as man wishes them to be, nor will they be as they appear.
The Western world looks at the Middle East and wants to believe that the protests to topple the governments in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and others are freedom driven. They may just be in the minds of those who are protesting, but the freedom they are desiring is not the same as Western freedom as upheld in a Constitutional Republic or a representative democracy. It is the freedom of Islam, the peace of Islam. This freedom is the freedom of the made up and revamped moon god, allah, as defined by a deranged warlord and pedophile Mohammed in the 7th century. This so-called freedom is determined by Sharia law, where women and non-Muslims are subject to the Islamic Caliphate.
Islam's eschatology is similar to Christianity. Like most things of satan, however, Islam is an imitation leading many into deception. The 12th Imam is expected to return in the end times and bring the peace of Islam to the world for seven years with Jesus Christ as his prophet. On the 32nd anniversary of the overthrow of the Shah of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad gave a speech that the unrest in the Middle East is the beginning of the return of the 12th Imam. He said, "The final move has begun. We are in the middle of a world revolution managed by this dear (12th Imam). A great awakening is unfolding. One can witness the hand of the Imam in managing it." He believes that America is trying to prevent this.
Ahmadinejad has a very different view of the Egyptian uprising because he believes it will usher in the seven year reign of the 12th Imam, even with Christ as his prophet. This certainly parallels with what Christians believe about the antichrist, the seven year tribulation, and the eventual return of Christ. Those who minimize the prophecies of the end times believe the uprisings are spontaneous revolutions for freedom. Most believe Ahmadinejad to be delusional. These leaders also believe those who see Israel as God's timepiece of prophecy are ignorant radicals. Notwithstanding what the worldly believe, the prophecy clock has moved forward with Middle East unrest. Discern the scriptures that you are not left with your lamp half full.

White House to condemn Israel in UN Security Council
The blackmail foreign policy adopted by the White House against Israel is set to continue on the world stage this week. The United States is reported to be joining the other members of the United Nations Security Council to rebuke Israel for its continuing to allow its citizens to build homes on its own land. This is a first for the American government to take such a harsh international public stance against the Israeli settlements since the previous Bush Administration pressured then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to force abandonment of the settlements in Gaza. That move in of itself resulted in a terrorist takeover of Gaza and continued missile attacks on Israel rather than the peace expected by the experts.
The UN Security Council resolution supported by the White House states: "...the Secruity Council reiterates its previous resolutions and the obligations under the Quartet Roadmap, endorsed by its resolution 1515 (2003), expresses its strong opposition to any unilateral actions by any party, which cannot prejudge the outcome of negotiations and will not be recognized by the international community, and reaffirms that it does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity, which is a serious obstacle to the peace process." The Palestinians have been discussing stronger measures the Security Council and have reportedly backed the White House into a corner.
But the bottom line here is that this Administration has been Israeli-unfriendly from the beginning, supporting the Arab worldview. From his first major speech in Cairo, the man who occupies the Oval Office has signaled that there is a new beginning in American foreign policy that favors the Islamic world. He said, "I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles - principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."
Since, he has been angered when Israel pushed back on concessions to the terrorists, even standing up the Prime Minister of Israel at dinner and making him leave the White House through an alley stacked with trash. He has refused to upgrade technology for Israel's defenses, and has refused certain arms sales to the ally. At the same time, he has increased military sales to the Arab world and supported the inclusion of the terrorist sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood in establishing a new government in Egypt. The handwriting is on the wall and the American leader is found wanting. Genesis 12:3 says of Israel, "I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curses thee." Think of the worsening condition of our nation.

Prophetic Times: White House using technology to bypass First Amendment
The First Amendment to the US Constitution reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." These words are often described as the central protection to a free republic. The combination of government policies, the advancement of technology, and the exploitation of technolgy is well on the way to undermining the guardian of truth and free expression as commanded by the First Amendment. An example is a curious attack on the First Amendment free speech clause from the White House.
The White House has exploited expertly the free speech indigenous to the internet. ABC News claims that the White House in doing so is limiting free speech. For example, ABC says the signing of the recent START treaty with Russia and the Post-State of the Union cabinet meeting were closed to the news media, instead posting them on the web. ABC says the White House, by utilizing its internet juggernaut to promote its views in a news format, bypassed the traditional filter of critical review and coverage by the news media. In essence, ABC says the White House and is reporting its own political spin through its online assets while restricting the news media.
In this case, the policies of the White House are heading toward a state controlled media. White House spokesman Josh Earnest indicates there is a White House this is definitely a White House strategy, but he couches it in words characterizing service to citizens: "We're striving to not just have a passive website where people can read about what's happening but create a method of interaction and feedback." This approach is in line with Bible prophecy. Daniel 12:4 says that in the end times, "many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase." 2 Timothy 3:7 says that men in the last days will be "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Knowledge, truth and freedom are inextricably tied together. Jesus said in John 8:31, 32, "If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." The Biblical principles of knowledge of God, His truth, and freedom are set forth in the First Amendment. But we know that in the end times, technology will advance so fast that truth will be hard to ascertain. Technology will be used to withhold the truth and cause deception. We must be ever vigilant to remain spiritually and physically free by discerning and demanding truth.

It had to start somewhere
The makings of an online affair between a "Craigslist" seeker of "a man for a one on one relationship" and a second term Republican Congressman from New York ended abruptly when the woman made public his half naked pictures. Rep. Chris Lee had tried to pick up the woman by sending a pic of his well-cut frame and lying about his status as a single man--he, at least for the time being, is married and has a young child. According to the Washington Post, Lee's denial, recant, and resignation occurred within four hours after the scandal was first posted on the online gossip site Gawker. Americans and Lee's family were spared the normal drag through the mud from denials that politicians usually do.
Roll Call, a newspaper that covers Capitol Hill, wrote that Lee's swift departure was part of a "no tolerance" immorality policy instituted by new House Speaker John Boehner. Roll Call wrote: "...GOP sources say the new Speaker has shown little patience for ethical lapses and scandals... Boehner reportedly told Members: "If you put your own interests above those of your constituents, you're hurting them, and you're hurting the team. And it won't be tolerated." At a news conference after Lee's quick departure, Boehner said, "I believe that Members should be held to the highest ethical standard. Congressman Lee made his own decision that he felt was in his best interest and in the interest of his family."
Sex scandals seem to be a way of life in Washington, DC. Unfortunately, there seems to be a spirit or even a principality over the city that delights in the undoing of well-meaning public officials who exercise bad judgment. In my tenure as both a Capitol Hill staffer and as a political consultant, I saw many good men fall. They go up to the Hill will good intentions. But it is not long before the "Members Only" elevators, the "free" meals, the sexual tension that power creates, or the greed associated with power takes another soul. If an elected official has a weakness, the principality over Washington, DC will find it and exploit it. Think of how many scandals you don't hear about--those are probably the most costly.
Jesus says in Luke 12:1-3, "Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed on the housetops." There are a lot of dark secrets in politics. But cleaning it up and adhering to high standards has to start somewhere. Speaker Boehner has a daunting task before him and it may seem a little thing to require moral standards of his team, but we have heard that the devil is in the details. Perhaps in this detail of sexual immorality in politics, the devil's exposure will serve as a deterrence to all.

The consequences of accepting deceit
While most of the Islamic rhetoric is focussed on the "Great American Satan" and "Illegitimate Israel," what has happened in Egypt over the past two weeks indicates a radical change in American policy toward Islam. The diplomatic signals are clear--a willingness to work with, even hold talks, with the Muslim Brotherhood, the godfather of surrogate terrorist activities; the demand that the Egyptian ruler step down in response to protests; the guise of democracy that is covering the true nature of the move by Islamists in Egypt; the ignoring of advice from the most experienced democracy and faithful ally in the Middle East--Israel. This American presidency is Islamist-friendly and is endangering both Israel and America.
It seems all too pat. Public opinion would never support an American president working toward an Islamic Caliphate. The Islamists cannot appear too chummy with their redeemer, so they ratchet up the rhetoric against America. The president claims over and over again that he is a Christian, but denies the very deity of Christ in saying that there are more ways to heaven than just one. All the while he runs up insurmountable debt using illogical theories that spending far more than you have will somehow magically bring your finances into balance. And at every corner, he challenges Israel to give its land to terrorists in the name of peace--even making Israel's Prime Minister exit the White House through an ally of trash.
The American people have been took. There is no other explanation. We have been sold a bill of goods and if we truly want to know what is going on, we have to close our ears to the rhetoric and open our eyes to the actions. Jesus said in Matthew 7:15,16, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits." It is astounding that the well-educated masses in the world's most prosperous nation would not catch on to the reality that spending does not bring prosperity; that denying the deity of Christ does not make a Christian; that supporting Islamic terrorists does not bring peace; that making allies exit through trash is not honor.
Israel's Labor Party leader Benjamin Ben-Eliezer told IDF Radio: "We learn from history. We remember what was said when Carter proposed that the Shah of Iran give up nicely and allow Khomeini to take his place. In Gaza, too, when the Americans came in, they supervised the democratic elections [via which Hamas came into power]. If there are elections in Egypt the way the Americans want, I will be surprised if the Muslim Brotherhood does not win. This will be a new Middle East--radical, Islamic and extremist...I think the Americans still don't realize the extent of the catastrophe into which they have pushed the Middle East." Al-Takeyya is Islam's term for lying to advance Islam. I wonder if its pronounced "I'll Take Ya" in Chicago.

Why is the White House supporting the Muslim Brotherhood?
There is a public relations campaign being conducted by the White House and the mainstream news media that changes in Egypt's government will result in democracy and that this is somehow beneficial to the world. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception is rampant with regard to the situation in the Middle East, where the White House is working tirelessly to replace the current Egyptian government with some form of undefined "democracy" that includes the most vocal and deceptive opposition group--the Muslim Brotherhood--a known terrorist organization and sponsor of terrorism through affiliated groups like Hamas, Fatah, Hizbollah, and has links to al Qaeda.
David Horovitz of the Jerusalem Post lists several Muslim Brotherhood supported disruptions including Iran in 1979, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Turkey. There are other reports of the Muslim Brotherhood's involvement in Sudan and Somalia. The Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas revealed a Muslim Brotherhood plan for "civilization Jihad" in the United States--a plan that is already very mature in its activation. Horovitz says, "Washington's apparent disinclination...to internalize [accept] the dangers highlighted by the Iran, Gaza, Lebanon and Turkey disasters, and thus do everything in its power to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood presiding over a similar process in Egypt, is incomprehensible."
Real Clear Politics reports that the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, told a Congressional hearing yesterday, "The term Muslim Brotherhood is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam." Later, Clapper's public affairs office clarified to ABC News: "To clarify Director Clapper's point--in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak's rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation--he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization."
There is overwhelming evidence (despite Clapper's whitewashing) that the Muslim Brotherhood supports terrorism and the non-secular establishment of Sharia Law by force throughout the world. Yet, the actions of the man who occupies the Oval Office support the Muslim Brotherhood in forming a new government in Egypt. His very support could likely set off a powerful move of Islam felt throughout the world that could make the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran look like child's play. Why would the president of the United States support the Muslim Brotherhood? He was born and raised a Muslim of parents who were communistic at the very least. Maybe he knows something the rest of us don't.

There is a public relations campaign being conducted by the White House and the mainstream news media that changes in Egypt's government will result in democracy and that this is somehow beneficial to the world. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception is rampant with regard to the situation in the Middle East, where the White House is working tirelessly to replace the current Egyptian government with some form of undefined "democracy" that includes the most vocal and deceptive opposition group--the Muslim Brotherhood--a known terrorist organization and sponsor of terrorism through affiliated groups like Hamas, Fatah, Hizbollah, and has links to al Qaeda.
David Horovitz of the Jerusalem Post lists several Muslim Brotherhood supported disruptions including Iran in 1979, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Turkey. There are other reports of the Muslim Brotherhood's involvement in Sudan and Somalia. The Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas revealed a Muslim Brotherhood plan for "civilization Jihad" in the United States--a plan that is already very mature in its activation. Horovitz says, "Washington's apparent disinclination...to internalize [accept] the dangers highlighted by the Iran, Gaza, Lebanon and Turkey disasters, and thus do everything in its power to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood presiding over a similar process in Egypt, is incomprehensible."
Real Clear Politics reports that the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, told a Congressional hearing yesterday, "The term Muslim Brotherhood is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam." Later, Clapper's public affairs office clarified to ABC News: "To clarify Director Clapper's point--in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak's rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation--he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization."
There is overwhelming evidence (despite Clapper's whitewashing) that the Muslim Brotherhood supports terrorism and the non-secular establishment of Sharia Law by force throughout the world. Yet, the actions of the man who occupies the Oval Office support the Muslim Brotherhood in forming a new government in Egypt. His very support could likely set off a powerful move of Islam felt throughout the world that could make the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran look like child's play. Why would the president of the United States support the Muslim Brotherhood? He was born and raised a Muslim of parents who were communistic at the very least. Maybe he knows something the rest of us don't.

The generation shaping America's prophetic destiny
The more the American leadership acts in the best interests of Israel's enemies, the more negative pressure Americans can expect. Zechariah 12:3 says, "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered against it." The scriptures in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." The Lord says of Israel in Genesis 12:3, "And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
Since before the formation of the modern state of Israel, America has been a blesser of Israel. The United States has been a stalwart ally as Israel arose from dry bones as prophesied in Ezekiel 37. America was a key partner in fulfilling the scriptures that prophesied the return of the Jewish people to their homeland as in Isaiah 11:12, "And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." From the beginning, Founding Fathers rallied the patriots by comparing the American revolutionary experience to that of the Israelites' exodus from captivity in Egypt from the pulpits of churches across the colonies.
America is inextricably tied to Israel and the prophetic end times. Jesus after describing the beginning of sorrows said in Matthew 24:32, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." America has been a blessing to Israel and so therefore has been blessed. But who would have known that this mighty sister of Jerusalem would after the fig tree springs leaves, finish its time by bolstering the enemies of Israel and defining its prophetic fate in a way that is unbefitting of its historic and prophetic prologue?
We can lament the falling away from our Judeo-Christian roots. We can mourn the worship of the creation over the Creator in the forced acceptance of homosexuality. We can wail and cry over the taking of innocent blood by the abomination of abortion. We can trouble ourselves that our future has been mortgaged by the covetousness of a leviathan government. But are these the result of our own degrading state, or are they the consequences of our actions in forcing Israel to give up its land for peace, supporting terrorists as part of a new government in Egypt, or arming the enemies of Israel with our sophisticated weaponry? Are we not establishing our prophetic destiny in God's permissible will rather than His perfect will?

Teetering between God and destruction
The Western news media and the leadership of the United States is so enamored with the possibility of freedom and democracy in Egypt that some are missing the point of the meaning of freedom to Islamists, which is Sharia Law; others are down right calculating that the move in Egypt to establish the Muslim Brotherhood as a major state player will usher in another strategic block of an Islamic world order. It is up to the citizens of the United States to discern which are misguided utopians and which are treasonous snakes trying to destroy America. Notwithstanding, both are equally dangerous as America's place in the end times is being worked out before our very eyes.
When something is so far from what one believes to be true that it cannot be accepted, that issue is often ignored until one can process it mentally. Think along the lines of Revelation. There are many events in Revelation that would be extremely difficult for the human mind to process if it were actually happening real time. This is the case with America right now. America's leadership is acting every day in such a way that most reasonable citizens cannot believe the actions before them are as real as they appear. For example, no one would ever want to believe that a president would stand in the House of Representatives and welcome homosexuals into the military, but he did.
Another example is that the Administration is openly accepting a role of the terrorist sponsoring organization Muslim Brotherhood as a legitimate player in a replacement government in Egypt. It is also unbelievable that the leadership in America would deliberately spend so much money that it enslaves taxpayers to the government. It is equally unbelievable that the president would openly and purposely not obey a court order to stop implementing the socialist health care law that is ruled unconstitutional. There are many more examples. Unless the people wake up and process these things that they never believed would or could happen, they will continue in a place of inaction until it is too late to recover.
Some say this is God's judgment or in the very least God lifting his hand of protection from the nation for its blatant disregard for His commandments. In Deuteronomy 28, the Lord lists through Moses the blessings of a nation that keeps the Lord's commands and the curses on the nation that does not. A list of the curses is given. Many of these curses have happened or are happening to the United States as we have become a nation dedicated in covenant with God that does not follow God. Interesting that verse 60 says, "Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou was afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee." America is teetering between God and destruction, and Egypt is not afar.

Dark leadership and the light of prophetic truth
Many people do not understand why the American government would support the inclusion of the terrorist-sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood organization in the forming of a new government in Egypt. If America has any say with Egypt whatsoever, why would America's leadership allow the power of such a group to grow in the vacuum of a revolution? Can not the president, the secretary of state, the diplomatic core and others see the dangers in promoting terrorists from their experience of the past and the history of Iran, Iraq, the Palestinian Authority, and so on? The answer can be clearly found in the Bible and it is why these dangers are so obviously apparent to those who know their scriptures.
2 Corinthians 4:2-4 says, "[We]...have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." In Christ, there is truth. And in the truth, the mysteries of the world are revealed. But if people do not know the truth, it is hid from them by the god of this world--who is satan.
The Founding Fathers of the United States believed that for a Constitutional Republic to survive (not a democracy, mind you) only the moral and religious could be elected to office. On October 11, 1798, John Adams wrote: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Jay, the first Supreme Court Chief Justice, wrote in October of 1816, "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers." It is from these underpinnings that the American people have become so distant that our leaders reflect our ignorance.
James 1:23-25 characterizes the condition of "We the people": "For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass (mirror): For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." You see, Americans have been brainwashed into believing the separation of church and state argument. But we see in the issues that matter most, the lack of Truth in our leaders leads us to disaster. The answer is two-fold: We must preach the Word and only the Word, and we must only elect those who follow it.

Prophetic consequences of American leadership supporting Muslim Brotherhood
The Islamic-friendly White House supports replacing the Egyptian government with a coalition that includes the radical terrorist sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood. This move, supported by the Secretary of State and the president, will undoubtedly usher in a new era of terrorist-based instability in the Middle East and cause grave consequences for the United States and Israel for decades to come. The president's first major speech supported and glorified Islam in Cairo. It is likely no prophetic coincidence that since then there has been great economic calamity, oil disaster, violence on the borders, and political unrest. The more America concerns herself with Egypt, the more consequences are likely.
On National Public Radio, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, "Today we learned the Muslim Brotherhood decided to participate, which suggests they at least are now involved in the dialogue that we have encouraged." Clinton is holding strong to the White House line that America is supporting democracy in Egypt. Despite warnings from Israel, veteran foreign policy experts and conservatives, this White House is buying the lie that the Muslim Brotherhood will participate in a democratic government. The man in the Oval Office said, "Now, it is not the role of any other country to determine Egypt's leaders...Furthermore, the process must include a broad spectrum of Egyptian voices and opposition parties."
There are lessons from America's actions regarding Iran, Iraq, and the Palestinian Authority. When President Jimmy Carter helped depose the Shah of Iran-- a ruler friendly to the United States and one who kept the balance of peace in the Middle East--the result was the birth of a new era of terrorism. When President George W. Bush "liberated" Iraq and established "democracy" there--the people adopted a Sharia-law type of Constitution where religious freedom is essentially nonexistent. When "democratic" elections were held by the Palestinian Authority, the majority that were elected were members of the terrorist group Hamas.
Islam is a tyrannical political system disguised as a religion. Islam can embrace "democracy" because it feeds into Islam's totalitarian political goals. By encouraging the engagement of the Muslim Brotherhood in a so-called democratic system, the American leadership is paving the way for persecution of Christians and Jews and the escalation of a new Islamic order. Isaiah 59:8 says, The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace." Islam will only be emboldened by the unwise actions of the American leadership. Ezekiel 7:25 says, "Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace and there shall be none."

On National Public Radio, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, "Today we learned the Muslim Brotherhood decided to participate, which suggests they at least are now involved in the dialogue that we have encouraged." Clinton is holding strong to the White House line that America is supporting democracy in Egypt. Despite warnings from Israel, veteran foreign policy experts and conservatives, this White House is buying the lie that the Muslim Brotherhood will participate in a democratic government. The man in the Oval Office said, "Now, it is not the role of any other country to determine Egypt's leaders...Furthermore, the process must include a broad spectrum of Egyptian voices and opposition parties."
There are lessons from America's actions regarding Iran, Iraq, and the Palestinian Authority. When President Jimmy Carter helped depose the Shah of Iran-- a ruler friendly to the United States and one who kept the balance of peace in the Middle East--the result was the birth of a new era of terrorism. When President George W. Bush "liberated" Iraq and established "democracy" there--the people adopted a Sharia-law type of Constitution where religious freedom is essentially nonexistent. When "democratic" elections were held by the Palestinian Authority, the majority that were elected were members of the terrorist group Hamas.
Islam is a tyrannical political system disguised as a religion. Islam can embrace "democracy" because it feeds into Islam's totalitarian political goals. By encouraging the engagement of the Muslim Brotherhood in a so-called democratic system, the American leadership is paving the way for persecution of Christians and Jews and the escalation of a new Islamic order. Isaiah 59:8 says, The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace." Islam will only be emboldened by the unwise actions of the American leadership. Ezekiel 7:25 says, "Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace and there shall be none."

Egyptian crossroads: prophetic decline of moral leadership yielding to rising Islam
The Islamic world is in an uproar. Journalists are trying to portray this as a region-wide revolution for the establishment of democracy in many of the currently oppressed nations. The people they interview are all talking about freedom and having their children live better lives than they. What they do not understand, and what the journalists also refuse to accept, that democracy under Sharia law is an oxymoron--it does not exist. The Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorist organizations are most likely leveraging their goals of establishing a radical Islamic rule on the backs of some very well intended people who will be used to foment disruption and crisis, then be enslaved once again to tyranny.
In the vacuum of leadership created by the crisis is the place where the more organized and cunning radicals can take control. This is what happened in Iran in 1978 and the people are still oppressed, even worse than they were under the grip of the Shah. But there is an even greater vacuum of leadership that will supersede the impact of the thousands of protesters in the streets--the lack of moral leadership by the United States. Global terrorism and instability began with Jimmy Carter and has experienced intermittent fits and starts since. Today, the world stands on the precipice of a surge in Islam and a decline of America--the ingredients needed to usher the world into the prophetic end times.
An article in the Israeli publication Haaretz by Ari Shavit is eerily prophetic. Shavit writes: "The West's position is not a moral one that reflects a real commitment to human rights. The West's position reflects the adoption of Jimmy Carter's worldview: kowtowing to benighted, strong tyrants while abandoning moderate, weak ones. Carter's betrayal of the Shah brought us the ayatollahs, and will soon bring us ayatollahs with nuclear arms. The consequences of the West's betrayal of Mubarak will be no less severe. It's not only a betrayal of a leader who was loyal to the West, served stability and encouraged moderation. It's a betrayal of every ally of the West in the Middle East and the developing world."
Shavit says, "The West has stopped being a leading and stabilizing force around the world. The Arab liberation revolution will fundamentally change the Middle East. The acceleration of the West's decline will change the world. One outcome will be a surge toward China, Russia and regional powers like Brazil, Turkey and Iran...When the United States and Europe bury Mubarak now, they are also burying the powers they once were." Shavit rightly discerns that the decline of America is precipitated by the moral character of our leaders. Proverbs 14:34 says, "Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." The prophetic consequences of our choices of leaders is soon to be revealed in a grand way.

Journalists getting mob treatment by peaceful religion in Egypt
The angry mobs in Egypt are being a little tough on so-called journalists from America. CNN's Cooper Anderson was punched in the head several times. ABC's Christiane Amanpour was swarmed by protestors who, according to Amanpour, "surrounded us and chased us into the car shouting that they hate America. They kicked in the car doors and broke our windshield as we drove away." CBS's Katie Couric also was reportedly attacked by protestors who say they hate America. This is not the type of reception these modern day "Rock Stars" enjoy as celebrities in the United States. It seems they are getting a welcome that they didn't expect from the moderate crowd of their beloved peaceful religion.
Maybe these reporters will come away from Egypt with a new understanding that Islam is not what they report it to be. We can only hope that by these purported journalists' collective first hand experience of angry mobs caring nothing of their precious right to free speech their eyes would be opened to the world of Islam. It is reality television at its best and the journalists are the objects of hate rather than adoration. But to the liberal mind, some journalists already say that it is because of America's longstanding support of Egypt's Mubarak government that the riots occurred. They imply that if America was not such an evil imperialist empire, the peaceful religion of Islam would not be so provoked to anger.
The Committee to Protect Journalists, a journalist defense watchdog group, says the rioters are pro-Egyptian government mobsters trying to "eliminate witnesses to their actions." CPJ's Middle East and North Africa program coordinator Mohamed Abdel Dayem, obviously an impartial observer, says."The government has resorted to blanket censorship, intimidation, and today a series of deliberate attacks on journalists carried out by pro-government mobs." Journalists traditionally are proffered some respect during news coverage because it is assumed they are reporting events without bias, but as we can see by this example--the pro-government guys are bad, the Muslim Brotherhood guys are good.
These are rioters that are looting 2,000 year old historic treasures of Egypt. If they care nothing about their own heritage, why would they care about a celebrity journalist from the land of the great satan? If you, as a hated American, are going to cover a riot, especially one instigated by terrorists, you can expect to get roughed up a bit. These Islamists who hate America and Israel are not caring about the journalists who love them. It would be a great thing if our "journalists" would understand the truth about this peaceful religion and report it. But as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not..."

Egypt: Prophetic Type and Shadow for America?
Protests in Egypt and the Middle East are ostensibly originating from pro-democracy groups. But this is much the same report that was given when the uprising in Iran occurred in 1978. It is in this deception that those in American leadership who promote global democracy hang their altruistic hope of establishing a peaceful world order. But organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, al Qaeda, Hizbollah and others prey on these situations and take advantage of passionate idealism to gain totalitarian power. With all the information available at their fingertips, American leadership should be able to discern this dire situation and see the similarities that could put Americans in harms way on our own soil.
There has been a lack of discernment for nearly a decade as Egyptian-born Islamist Mohamed El Baradei deceptively assisted Iran and others in gaining nuclear technology while he was presiding over the United Nations effort to limit nuclear proliferation. Additionally, there seems to be a lapse of good judgment by the White House in assisting the Muslim Brotherhood with its goals in Egypt. Will our leadership be so accommodating when the Muslim Brotherhood brings violence to our streets? This is the result of following leaders both nationally and within the church that lack Biblical truth and Holy Spirit guidance. Their discernment and judgment are weighed in the balance and "are found wanting."
Upon delivering the Israelites from Egypt, the Lord gave Moses advice on choosing leadership. Exodus 18:21 says, "Moreover thou shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness: and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens." Americans have been conditioned for the past two generations that there must be separation of church and state. We have turned our back as a nation on this founding principle of good government. How can we then expect our leaders to have Holy Spirit discernment when we have chosen those who know neither God nor the Holy Scriptures?
Romans 10:14 says, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" The Lord showed Ezekiel the abominations and idolatry as the elders and priests turned their backs on Him inside the temple and He said in 8:17, "for they have filled the land with violence." Indeed, the strange fire of man-made doctrines falsely taught by the church in its self indulgence has caused this condition. And if we, who know the truth, do not stand in this very day and time, our land will also be filled with violence as the Muslim Brotherhood and others lie in wait as they did in Egypt. We must send sound men of God into leadership, but first we must teach them rightly and then demand of them righteousness.
