The forces of darkness meet in secret; let our light so shine!
What do the executive officers of Alcoa, Royal Dutch Shell, Coca-Cola, Goldman Sachs, Clarium Capital Management, and Airbus have in common with Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the American Enterprise Institute, the Hudson Institute, and David Rockefeller? These are all members of the steering committee for one of the most secretive organizations on earth--The Bilderberg group. This secret society is holding its annual meeting in Switzerland this week. According to Bilderberg investigative journalist Jim Tucker, the globalists will be discussing how to broaden their profit making with the war in Libya, measures to globalize national sovereignty, and use high gas prices to control economies.
Bilderberg attendees provoke vast conspiracy theories about global control, war profiteering, and destroying and building economies for profit and global governance. Indeed, its secretive meetings, agendas and combined global political and financial power serve to fuel the fire of those with wild imaginations. But in reality, much of group think, governmental policies and world events seem to fall in line with the Bilderberg agenda. There are also overlapping secret societies that muster globalist muscle of similar fame--Freemasons, the Bohemian Club, the Illuminati, the Trilateral Commission. There are also more open globalist promoting societies such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Carlyle Group.
These organizations are dedicated to controlling the world through a one world order that is favorable to their independent positions. A rival group to these wealthy and influential globalists may well be Islam. The concept of Islam is to take over the world in the name of allah and establish Sharia Law over all the nations which would then submit to this cultic economic and political system disguised as a religion. All of these have one goal in common--world domination. They are dark and evil organizations that manipulate, plot, conspire, and kill, steal and destroy. In that, they have one father in common, satan, who uses them as tools to put people on the path to hell and to usher in his global government.
These conspirators have no authority in the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 4:4,5 says, "For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." Our job is not to be troubled by these sinister forces, but rather as Romans 13:12 says, "cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light." There is a lot written in the Bible about the Lord's people being of light and not darkness. So as the forces of darkness gather, let us let our light scatter them.

When the wicked bear rule, the people mourn
USA Today has published an alarming story that debt/unfunded obligations of the Federal Government have reached $527,000 per household. In other words, you and I are more than half a million dollars in debt that the government put us into. How are we going to get out? The total figure of unfunded obligations, according to USA Today is $61.6 trillion. The reporter interviewed an accountant who said the federal debt--at a mere $14 trillion-plus--does not take into account what the government owes to veterans, seniors and retired employees. Its kind of a bait and switch technique that is being used to not give the public a clear picture of the dire straights in which our leadership has placed this nation.
There also seems to be no governor on the spending. The president has announced billions more in aid to Middle East countries that are overthrowing their governments. He also pledged some unknown amount of taxpayer money to support a $100 billion European Union bailout of Greece. There also is no small amount of politics being played with taxpayer money. The cronies in labor unions, mortgage banking, the auto industry, and Wall Street have captured most of the trillions of economic bailout money in America--that is, what is actually accounted for. Meanwhile, the president says he will defund low-income health care for Indiana residents if they defund the Planned Parenthood abortion mill.
The framers of the US Constitution wisely established a set of checks and balances that one section of the government would not be more powerful than another. And all three branches were to be accountable to the people. Hence we have an extensive elective process that proceeds from the very local level through states all the way to the federal government. There is, however, on small problem: When the people do not exercise their civic responsibility and leave it to the politicians they elect. The system of accountability breaks down when elected officials serve the best interests of the political system rather than be forced to serve those who elect them. And that is why we are in trouble as a nation.
John Adams said, "Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." William Paterson, signer of the Constitution and a Supreme Court judge appointed by George Washington said, "Religion and morality are necessary to good government, good order, and good laws, for when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice." Indeed, Proverbs 29:2 is wisdom: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn." As President Reagan said, "If not us, who? If not now, when?"

Submitting to Islam: White House policies' dangerous trek
Having a cup of coffee at the San Antonio airport, I was observing people go through security. It occurred to me after watching a white grandmother in her early 60's having her very private parts groped in full view of the public, that this is America submitting to Islam. We take off our shoes, belts, give up our belongings and submit to an invasive search every time we want to fly. Why? Because of Islam. This grandmother was visiting her granddaughter who was born 10 weeks premature. She said she has accepted the groping because she wants to fly. She has a prosthetic shoulder and hip. Her husband watched in disgust. This is just the beginning, however, if the White House policies on the Middle East continue.
White House policies on the Middle East are leading this nation down the path of submission to Islam. Rand Corporation researchers have issued a report warning that Iran is eight weeks from having enough enriched uranium to make a nuclear bomb. Iran has been working with China, North Korea, and Russia to achieve this milestone. All the while, the Administration's trusted source at the United Nations, Mohamed El Baradei denied for years that Iran was making the bomb. El Baradei has since bolted to Egypt where he participated in overthrowing the Mubarak government. This White House supported coup was part of its Muslim Brotherhood partnership to usher in "democracy."
The president proclaimed a new direction in Middle East policy in his May 19 speech "to promote reform across the region, and to support transitions to democracy." Democracy, as we know in these Islamic countries, means the installation of radical Islam. In fact, Fox News reports that the White House has demanded the State Department support the terrorist sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood. A State Department analyst said, "this administration has been unrelenting about this, making a number of transfers and forced retirements in order to clear away irrational opposition to our new approach." He told Fox News the Brotherhood shares America's concern for human rights and democratic governance.
There are many in America that cannot fathom a US President throwing in with the bad guys. But it has happened. This president is destabilizing the Middle East by supporting revolution in the name of democratic reform at a time when he is also allowing Iran a free pass on making a nuclear bomb. He has told Israel it must revert to indefensible 1967 borders. The Religious Freedom Coalition reports that the president recently placed two activist Islamists in policy positions at Homeland Security and appointed an activist Islamic with ties to terrorist groups to US Attorney in Michigan. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Getting groped at the airport is mild fare compared to what is coming.

The blessing in standing against evil
You might know that US District Court Judge Fred Biery's decision forbidding prayer or any type of mention of God at the Medina Valley High School graduation was overturned. But this is certainly not the end of it. At the invitation of AGAPE Movement, a Christian-based political activist group, I went to San Antonio to stand in prayer with the graduates, their parents and their families. It was the right thing to do. I dare say that had the decision banning God not been overturned, South Texas would have reenacted the Alamo. Instead, those of us there moved ourselves out of earshot and eye view of the news media and the stadium where graduates and speakers led prayer after prayer, and we held our own prayer rally.
Driving in to the stadium, there were signs in yards saying things like "God Bless MV (meaning Medina Valley) Class of 2011. Security was really tight, because there were threats against those who would have the audacity to exercise their First Amendment rights to free speech and the exercise of their religion. The wife of a school district official came over to greet us. She said that the leftists (Barry Lynn's Americans for Separation of Church and State, et al.) thought the school district would just roll over rather than spend the time and money to fight, then the prayer ban would become legal precedent in Texas. "Not with my husband," she said. "They picked the wrong school district. We decided to fight."
Its not over because the court granted a temporary restraining order against the religion ban by Judge Biery. Valedictorian Angela Hildenbrand still has a long way to press her suit on behalf of all our rights. Indeed, even the school district, as our sources reveal, will likely fight this frivolous nonsense for up to three years. But Texans that I talked to are willing to fight. They are tired of anti-Christian, anti-American minorities trying to take away their rights. And if a line in the sand has been drawn, the leftists who cross it are going find out the fight in the Texan. Already, calls have been made for the resignation of Biery for violating his oath of office. He may even be charged with obstruction of the law and there is talk of impeachment.
This is an example where prayer and action combined to change the outcome of an unjust ruling based on a judge wanting to improperly use the law to act out his hatred for Christians. It is an example of what Jesus said in Matthew 24:12 of the end times, "And because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." God's law and the subsequent fulfillment of it by Christ requires the very active practice of our obligation to him, defined by the Founders as "religion." And we as Christians and as Americans must stand against such lawlessness when we are forbidden by judges to exercise our religion. When we pray and act, and having done all, stand, wonderful things happen. We should do such often.

The unlawful awful rule of lawlessness
Most every year at this time some humanist judge misinterprets the law and rules that there can be no prayer or benediction at a graduation ceremony. This year, it was US District Judge Fred Biery in Texas who ruled that the Medina Valley School District cannot offer a prayer at its graduation otherwise the school is "sponsoring a religion." Valedictorian Angela Hildenbrand is standing up to Judge Biery. She says that her "liberties are being infringed upon by this court's ruling to censor" her speech. And the Liberty Institute has filed suit on behalf of Hildenbrand to challenge the decision. Even the Texas Attorney General is up in arms, saying its part of an ongoing attempt to purge God from the public setting.
Judge Biery should be removed from the bench, disbarred and dethroned. The First Amendment is written in plain English and the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the country. It is based on the Supreme Law of the universe--God's law. It is the social contract with the American people. It says plainly, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." That means hands off, no matter where or in what circumstance religion is exercised. Judge Biery obviously does not know the meaning of plain words or he has another agenda, which in prosecuting his duties as an unbiased source of the law, he is in violation of his oath of office.
An unjust law is no law at all. The definition of unjust is derived from the laws of God as presented in the Holy Bible. The foundation of all law in civil societies is from God's law. This is a historic fact that is traceable to the very beginnings of law in the time of Moses, through the generations into Roman and Greek societies, through the Magna Charter, English Common Law and the US Constitution. It is Biblical and Scriptural to stand against unjust laws and unjust enforcement of laws. When Peter was brought before the authorities for preaching Jesus, Acts 5:29 says, "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."
Even in Acts 4:18-21, Peter and John had this exchange with the Sadducees: "And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." And by law, you and I and every child are allowed to exercise our right to religion in any setting we wish. Its sad that lawsuits have to be filed against Judges like Biery. In reality, all of Texas should come to the graduation and pray, then run Biery out of the state for the disgraceful and unlawful way he rules.

Consequences of Biblical proportions--The pending American depression
CNBC is carrying a story where market strategist Peter Yastrow predicts "We're on the verge of a great, great depression." Yastrow cites as factors that homeowners are upside down in their mortgages, the slow pace of the technology sector, and the Federal Reserve's control of interest rates. He says, "What we've got right now is almost near panic going on with money managers and people who are responsible for money" because they cannot find a yield. Another fund manager quoted by CNBC says, "It seems that almost every bit of data about the health of the US economy has disappointed expectations recently."
There is a premise here that seems to be overlooked. I think it is overlooked because all the "smart" people from Yale, Harvard, Oxford, etc., were the ones who came up with the idea and it goes against the laws of God. That premise is that one cannot spend a household, a business or a government into prosperity. In the case of America, the economic advisors in whom our past two presidents have trusted, sold the idiotic idea that the government could borrow and spend its way to prosperity. It doesn't work. Anybody who has ever had to balance a checkbook knows this. The Bible says in Romans 13:8, "Owe no man anything."
The Lord gave the nation of Israel many commandments, that if followed, the nation would be blessed and as a people, they would prosper. Deuteronomy 15:5, 6 says, "Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day. For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee." These are principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But our government in America has denied God, separated itself from him, and has lost its bearings of good sense and of sound responsibility.
We are now beginning to see the harsh reality of the folly of these godless humanists who coveted the work of your hands through taxes and policies, and have squandered your inheritance. The spending that these scoundrels incur on your behalf piles up at a rate of about $100,000 every 20 seconds. And at some point, that one dollar that falls upon the national debt will cause it all to crash down--the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back. Each dollar the government takes from you and, in turn, borrows more to add to this debt, is a warning that we as a people must make a radical turn back to the Lord and His commandments or face the consequences. It is time to measure leadership against the plumb line of scripture rather than by the feather that tickles the ear.

Rise in food stamp use represents opportunity for the Church
The original food stamp program started in May 1939 as an experimental program during high unemployment in the era of the Great Depression. The program was stopped in 1943. Another pilot was conducted over a three year period when John F. Kennedy came into office. It wasn't until the socialist Great Society programs of Lyndon Johnson that food stamps became a permanent program in 1964. Now its known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, and recipients on the government dole have grown some 61 percent in the past four years, to a record of over 44 million Americans, costing taxpayers more than $68 billion, according to ABC News.
Did you know that 14% of Americans are now receiving taxpayer funded food assistance? That food stamp participation has grown so rapidly demonstrates--to me--two things: First that socialism in the United States is approaching a critical mass, something that was never intended to be a part of the American experience. And my second is derived from the first: That the Christian church in America is failing in its duties. When Johnson and his Democratic controlled Congress expanded the government's role in providing for the social needs of Americans, the Church in America at the time was applauding the wonderful humanitarian concept about the war on poverty. This was a pivotal moment for our nation.
The Church was all too eager and willing to abrogate its Christ-commanded responsibility to the government, translated: taxpayer. This, in my opinion, was a major marker in the downfall of Christianity in this country and the ultimate rise and institutionalization of secular humanism. It coincided with evolution being taught in the public schools as scientific fact rather than theory; with the eventual removal of teacher-led prayer in school, the sexual revolution and abortion. If it was a socialist leaning Congress passing such legislation that codified the secular humanist movement in America, it was the Church abrogating its responsibilities that opened the floodgates.
Even today, the Church in America is more focussed on strange doctrines of man, or self indulgence of what people think God wants for them instead of from them, or the government providing social justice than it is even trying to fulfill its duties as prescribed by Christ. There are many examples, one found in Matthew 25:35, 36, "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." The rise in food stamp use is an excellent opportunity for the Church in America. There is great blessing in caring for one another--it builds both the recipient and the giver.

There are many examples, one found in Matthew 25:35, 36, "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me."
