US support of Sharia accelerates prophetic outlook
After months of promoting the "Arab Spring" US-supported rebellions in Egypt and Libya as a call for self determination and democracy, the mainstream news media is finally catching up to what those of us in the "sane"-stream media have been saying all along--these rebellions replace dictatorships with a radical brand of Islamic Sharia. The US president has forced the American military and his diplomatic corps to support terrorist sponsoring- and terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda in overthrowing governments in the Middle East. As reality of the aftermath sets in, the star-crossed liberals who romanticize about grass roots revolutions are finding out the hard facts of their folly.
The darling of the leftist media, The Washington Post, revealed as if it were news on September 12 that Islamists are emerging in force in "new Libya." Still holding on to its romanticism over the thought of democracy in Islam, the Post maintained that The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), whose leadership won the day in the rebellion, is "not al Qaeda." Irrespective, on November 3, 2007, Al Jazeera reported, and the State Department confirmed, that LIFG became the Libyan wing of al Qaeda. It was big news at the time, swept under the rug when this Administration decided to spread Sharia in the name of democracy. The leader of the LIFG even hid behind a name change during the fighting in Libya.
The Post reports further: "Islamists led by the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood took advantage of secularists' absence from the eastern city of Benghazi to win passage of a revised provision that made Islamic law the principal law of the land, said a council member involved in the process." Al Jazeera, reported on September 13 that, "Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council, has a message for Libyans: Fear not, Sharia law is on the way." Jali said in a speech, "We are seeking to establish a state government by law and welfare--and Sharia, Islamic Law, should be the main source of law." Indeed, the current draft of Libya's new constitution sets forth that the nation will be ruled by Sharia.
Already in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood has tightened its grip to spread Sharia, and has created new relationships with Hamas and Hezbollah. The US president was instrumental in the overthrow of Egypt and it falling into the hands of the previously banned Muslim Brotherhood. These moves by the US have great prophetic significance. These new policies have long term impact, so much so, that many Biblical prophecies could be fulfilled with the turn of an event. Many have warned of the consequences of supporting evil. 2 Chronicles 36:16 says, "But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy."

Smoking Gun: Justice Department covering up selling guns to drug cartel members
On September 7, Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters that reports were untrue linking his department and the White House with the decision to sell guns to Mexican drug runners through Operation Fast and Furious. He claimed they were politically motivated, saying, "The notion that somehow or other this thing reaches into the upper levels of the Justice Department is something that. ... I don't think is supported by the facts. It's kind of something I think certain members of Congress would like to see, the notion that somehow or other high-level people in the department were involved." This is an outright denial that he (Holder) or any other high official knew about the operation.
I am not going to mince words. Holder is lying. On April 2, 2009, Holder gave a speech to the Mexico/United States Arms Trafficking Conference in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Posted on the US Department of Justice's website (www.justice.gov/ag/speeches/2009/ag-speech-090402.html) are his remarks. He said, "Last week, our administration launched a major new effort to break the backs of the cartels. My department is committing 100 new ATF personnel to the Southwest border in the next 100 days to supplement our ongoing Project Gunrunner, DEA is adding 16 new positions on the border, as well as mobile enforcement teams, and the FBI is creating a new intelligence group focusing on kidnapping and extortion."
Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious are synonymous. CBS News, for example, reported on February 23, 2011 the death of border agent Brian Terry, who was murdered by a drug cartel thug using an assault rifle purchased at a US gun shop. The weapon was part of thousands of guns that were delivered into the hands of Mexican drug cartel criminals by the Justice Department's Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. CBS reported that ATF said "the idea was to gather intelligence to see where the guns ended up." The murder of Terry brought this insane program to the public forefront, where the Attorney General has denied any prior knowledge.
A search of the Justice Department website shows dozens of releases and statements on the subject, many by Holder himself. Holder's Justice Department authorized the sale of weapons to Mexican drug cartel members through US gun shops. The purpose was to track the weapons when crimes were committed. Americans have been killed because of it. Holder denies knowing of it. The President denies knowing of it. But there are references throughout the Justice Department website touting it. Jesus said in John 3:20, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." Here is a place where the light of truth needs to shine.

The Prophecy Clock: White House winds it tighter
The president of the United States has continued the nation-building policy of his predecessor by taking an art that should be lost to a whole new level--destabilizing the Middle East by supporting terrorist groups and terrorist sponsoring groups--namely al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. Case in point is the overthrow of the Egyptian government by the Muslim Brotherhood and the support of al Qaeda in ousting the Libyan dictator. All the intellectuals that support the current president are hailing this so-called "Arab Spring" as a landmark step toward democracy and self determination. In reality, this policy has legitimized Islamic Sharia and has brought end times prophecy closer to fulfillment.
In Zechariah 12:3, the Lord says, "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." And in 14:2, 3, "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle." While the intellectuals believe that Sharia is self determination, history shows us that Islam exists to do the bidding of satan.
Since the US has gotten behind the terrorists, even though they war against America, demands have increased for a Palestinian state that divides Israel into two pieces. Turkey has cut diplomatic ties with Israel and is threatening military escort of arms and goods in flotillas to Gaza. The US and the United Nations have failed to stop Iran's nuclear program as its nuclear plant stepped up operations this week. Islamic states say they will push for UN recognition of a Palestinian state next week. Russia says it will vote with the Islamists. Now NATO's Secretary General is warning about what observers knew before the Libyan operations--that Libya could fall into the hands of Islamic extremists.
Published in Israel News is an account of a conversation King Abdullah of Jordan had with an Israeli intellectual, who argued that the developments in the Middle East were good for Israel. Abdullah said he told the Israeli, "I replied and said that it was the opposite and that Israel's situation today is more difficult than ever before...Jordan and the future Palestine are stronger than Israel is today. It is the Israeli who is scared today." While the intellectuals and wise believe they can outsmart God, they are actually paving the way for the Tribulation and the antichrist. Trouble is, America is helping and there is a promise from God about that in Zechariah 12:9, "I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

The Prophetic Truth and the Reality of 911
As we remember the atrocities of 911, let us not forget the reason for 911. Islam. The man who occupies the Oval Office remarked that America will never be at war with Islam or any other religion. But who has America been fighting the past ten years? Who has perpetrated terror against innocent men, women, and children since the Barbary pirates in the late 1700's through early 1800's? Islam. Who justifies killing; who justifies that Israel is comprised of pigs and should be destroyed; who's "holy book" instructs its CULTure to either convert Christians and Jews into its system, or kill them? Islam.
This is prophesied in the Bible of the one true God in Genesis 16:11, 12, "And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." This was the beginning of the star and crescent, where even Mohammed traced back the beginning of Islam. It is Ishmael who the Muslims believe was heir to Abraham, something cooked up thousands of years later.
It is a real stretch to point out in a speech commemorating the horrors of 911 to say that America's men and women have been at war for ten years, and then say it is not a war against Islam. Every one of our children who have been killed in Afghanistan, even in Iraq, by the enemy, where killed in the name of allah. It is even worse to adopt a foreign policy, as America's leadership has, to partner with our enemies--Islamic Sharia groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda--to overthrow governments and destabilize the Middle East in the name of spreading democracy. This is not only a sham, it is a shame.
As I remember 911, I remember how a militant fascist political system started another world war disguised as a "peaceful" religion. I remember the many prophecies in the Bible about the end times and how there will be a one world system and a one world religion under the antichrist, who will reign over tribulation for seven years. And I remember how Islam's eschatology speaks of the Mahdi who will return in the end times and establish the peace of Islam over all the earth for seven years with Jesus Christ as his prophet. And I see the spirit of delusion as it casts its net over the arrogant and unbelieving. Only in Christ is there truth.

When love waxes cold in the absence of God's law
Jesus said in Matthew 24:12, "And because iniquity (lawlessness) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." This is what has happened to our great nation. The laws of God have become anathema to many, and their love for one another as Americans and as God's children has waxed cold. Case in point is the recent rhetoric by Teamsters Union president Jimmy Hoffa, who on September 6 declared war on conservative Americans saying, "Let's take these son-of-a-b...out." House Black Caucus member Maxine Waters (D-Ca) said, "The Tea Party can go straight to hell, and I'll help them get there." Vice President Joe Biden has called TEA Party members "terrorists" and Republicans "barbarians."
From a president calling for more civility in politics...nothing. Silence. No condemnation. No words of reconciliation that would bring Americans together. What gives? Its deeper than politics. Its a way of life. Its the belief that a free market economy with moral people is despicable in comparison to a controlled economy with moral relativism. Those of the former are the enemy in the eyes of the latter. While both sides likely feel the same about one another, one side has at least the decency to refrain from such public characterizations. Notwithstanding, the "ilk" emanating from the White House through liberalism these days is wholeheartedly dark.
Another example is the foreign policy of America. Nation building started in the first Bush term, but now America is aiding al Qaeda directly in Libya and indirectly through the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Yemen, Syria, the Palestinian Authority and who knows where else. White House terrorist advisor John Brennan has admitted that members of al Qaeda's Libyan organization were being helped by the US in overthrowing the government there. Abu Abdallah al-Sadiq, a founder of the al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) currently known as Abdel Hakim al-Khulidi Belhaj was trained by US Special Forces to (according to UPI) to take down the Libyan government. He is now calling for Islamic Sharia Law.
Certainly, early drafts of the new Libyan Constitution expressly state that the country will be governed by Sharia. The Daily Jot confirmed that US Special Forces indeed were on the ground in Tripoli. Sharia Law, Islam, Jihad, Socialism, racism, hatred--are all against God's law. Further, the United States aiding terrorists is directly against Israel, where the Bible is very specific about blessings and curses. We as a people are trekking down a very dangerous road. John Adams stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." We have strayed afar from the laws of God and love for one another. If we do not repent, the consequences are dire.

The Answer to the Islamic Challenge in Ghana
There have been a lot of teachings about exactly what Jesus meant when he said in Matthew 5:39, "...but whosever smite thee on they right cheek, turn to him the other also." After seeing how some very dear Christian brothers and sisters witness to Muslims in Ghana, I believe one of the meanings could be that when people show you contempt and ill will, that you do not repay evil for evil, but rather kindness will touch their hearts more than any other thing. Let's face it, everything for which Islam stands is the antithesis of the Bible, and the Islamic theology is to do Jews and Christians harm, and they do it well.
After interviewing several Ghanians who have success witnessing to Muslims, and watching some of them in action, I conclude that showing Muslims love and creating one on one relationships results in Islamic conversions to Christ. Large evangelical "crusades" don't work. All say that it starts with a gift--some money, some food, some clothing--to show that you care. The next step is a discussion about who Jesus is. The Muslims know Jesus, but from a position of great disinformation. A frank, but loving, discussion of who Jesus is, how he died for our sins, and the salvation gift gets them thinking.
This is why our approach in Ghana attacks the Islamic Challenge in Ghana from a four pronged strategy. First, we are training up pastors to plant house churches in the rural areas. Through house churches, relationships can be created and grown over small group teachings, meals, and fellowships. Second, we want to focus on children. If we follow the Proverb that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it, then if we are able to school and educate children from a Christian worldview, we will will souls as well as make disciples for generations to come.
Third, our home churches cannot grow into large building-centered fortresses. They must utilize their resources to reach out to others through feeding and clothing programs, creating relationships. And fourth, we want to promote entrepreneurship that can eventually provide housing, jobs, food and essentials. Currently, we are in start up. Our needs include sponsorships of those ministers and evangelists in training, sponsorships of children for our mission schools in development, and donations that help us establish our infrastructure. Already, we have three such churches, and a fourth in the making. And we are conducting feeding programs. The love of Christ is a powerful tool!

Through house churches, relationships can be created and grown over small group teachings, meals, and fellowships. Second, we want to focus on children. If we follow the Proverb that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it, then if we are able to school and educate children from a Christian worldview, we will will souls as well as make disciples for generations to come.
Third, our home churches cannot grow into large building-centered fortresses. They must utilize their resources to reach out to others through feeding and clothing programs, creating relationships. And fourth, we want to promote entrepreneurship that can eventually provide housing, jobs, food and essentials. Currently, we are in start up. Our needs include sponsorships of those ministers and evangelists in training, sponsorships of children for our mission schools in development, and donations that help us establish our infrastructure. Already, we have three such churches, and a fourth in the making. And we are conducting feeding programs. The love of Christ is a powerful tool!

The Islamic Challenge in Ghana Part 1
He is a Christian pastor in a small rural village. Its not an easy life. Ministering is difficult in of itself, but it is even more so when there are little resources, your flock is in need of food, clothing and shelter. Just traveling around to see them, pray with them, encourage them is a labor of love--walking miles, taking taxis and tro tros, braving the elements. We as Americans have little concept of just how difficult it is to travel even short distances, let alone eat and communicate. What would we do without our cell phones, computers, cars and support systems? Imagine not having the resources to even go to the store.
Also imagine that there is a new man who moved into the village. He has money, he is a businessman, he just might be the answer to a lot of the problems faced by this pastor. The man seeks out the pastor. Talks to him about his ministry. Encourages him, befriends him. Before long, the businessman gives the pastor a car. This is a great relief as he can now minister to his flock so much more effectively. A while later, the businessman offers the pastor a place to live, low rent, very nice. The pastor is then offered a part time job that allows him to provide better for his family and still minister. He believes he has been blessed.
Then one day the businessman calls in the pastor to speak to him. He tells the pastor that he wants him to become a Muslim. The pastor says that he is Christian and leads a flock. But thanks the businessman for caring about him. The businessman says, "I do not think you understand. I have provided you a car. I have provided you a house. I have provided for you a job. Now I require of you that you convert to Islam." The pastor pauses a moment to reflect. Then he replies, "I very much appreciate all you have done for me. You are asking me to deny my savior Jesus Christ. This is something I cannot do, will not do."
The businessman collected the car. Turned pastor and his family out in the street. And fired the pastor from his job. But this is the way it goes in West Africa. In generally settled areas, the Muslims try to buy their way into the Christian community and seek to make conversions out of the tremendous needs. The money comes from drugs, prostitution, sometimes from the oil rich nations. It can be used to meet every need except that of the soul. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Only the Lord is our provider and our source of everlasting life.
