Because we have a right to know

Over the next few weeks, The Daily Jot will from time to time discuss the entire concept of nation building as it relates to the Middle East and what now are terrorist allies. This is important because it is an indicator of leadership gone terribly awry. While the world was analyzing the US president's May 19 speech on Middle East policy from the lens of how it impacts Israel, a much greater and problematic aspect of the speech was largely overlooked. It is the nearly unbelievable public shift in foreign policy toward nation building and opening up Middle Eastern nations to so-called self determination by applying all the tools at America's disposal--military, financial, political--to destabilize current governments and institute self rule.

He said, "Today I want to make it clear that it is a top priority that must be translated into concrete actions, and supported by all of the diplomatic, economic and strategic tools at our disposal. Let me be specific. First, it will be the policy of the United States to promote reform across the region, and to support transitions to democracy." He admitted, "Not every country will follow our particular form of representative democracy, and there will be times when our short-term interests don't align perfectly with our long-term vision for the region." This admission is in reality a disclaimer that terrorist organizations may well end up in power. They will because this White House is funding them and partnering with them.

The overall consequence of this stated policy will be terrorist-supporting groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, and al Qaeda wings rising to power in these nations in the name of self determination. Worse yet, your tax money and your children will be used to assist in this horrible cause. Already, the president and Congress are squaring off over the Constitutionality of America's involvement in the war in Libya. It is an undeniable example of where the US, against the Constitution and many other laws, is funding the overthrow of a government through rebel leadership that was not only fighting against American soldiers in Afghanistan, but also has an intimate relationship with al Qaeda.

Yes, unfortunately America has been involved in nation building in the past. But America's leaders--of both political parties--are guilty of allowing this White House to advance a nation building strategy that involves organizations whose stated purpose is to destroy Israel and takeover the United States. I know it is difficult to believe. In the weeks ahead, however, The Daily Jot will show you proof. Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." Let us not be among those who are deceived. We will seek the truth and then we will have to develop a plan of action to overcome evil with good.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
