Clarity: White House Middle East Policy and its prophetic consequences

The past weekend gave the world an exacting picture of the peace of a Palestinian state dividing Israel. Violent Islamist mobs in the thousands, who have been educated since birth to hate Jews and Israel, stormed across Israel's borders with Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. These terrorists were attacking Israel on Nakba Day, meaning the day of "the catastrophe"--May 14, 1948, when Israel once again officially became a nation. There never has been any evidence to believe that Islamist want peace with Israel, but rather that Israel be destroyed. It is institutionalized in the education of their children and manifest in every violent action, yet the United States persists in helping the terrorists to form a Palestinian state.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "We are determined to defend our borders and our sovereignty... It is important to note that these events are happening on the anniversary of the establishment of Israel. As the leaders of these violent acts themselves say-their battle is not for the 1967 lines, but rather, against Israel's existence, as they see that day as a disaster which must be rectified." As the skirmishes raged, Hamas and Fatah began meetings in Egypt to form a new government under which the White House is hopeful will rule over a new Palestinian state. Both Fatah and Hamas are terrorist organizations. Fatah oversees the Palestinian Authority which has received billions from America.

Egypt, whose government was overthrown at the urging of the White House to promote "democracy", has become increasingly radical. The White House's new Middle East strategic partner, the Muslim Brotherhood, has been tightening its grip in forming the new government. Already there are increasing reports that Egypt is aligning with the terrorist axis of Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran. As an indicator of how the Middle East is moving toward even more radicalization, reports of Christian persecution, beheadings, church burnings and murders have been on the rise in Egypt and Iraq since the White House has been promoting the replacement of stable rulers with democracy.

US support of democracy in the Middle East has disastrous impact. Front Page Magazine, for example, reports that the "democratic" government of Iraq enables and incites the persecution of Christians. FPM says that In the Arab/Muslim world, "majority rule" traditionally means Islamist domination, with the indigenous Christians being the first to suffer once the genie of "people-power" is uncorked. Just imagine the US forcing a Palestinian state dividing Israel into two pieces, as is planned. The Lord says in Genesis 12:3 of Israel, "I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee." As this White House presses on behalf of the terrorists, there will be more facing Americans than the Mississippi flowing backwards.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
